How To Become a Registered Burger King Corporation Diverse Supplier:

One practical way to showcase our commitment to diversity is by providing our teams with easy access to information on all registered diverse suppliers on BKC's Supplier Diversity Database.

In order to become a registered vendor on the BKC Supplier Diversity Database, please read and follow the steps and guidelines outlined below:

Step 1: Are you certified as a minority, woman or LGBT owned business?

A Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Women Business Enterprise (WBE) or LGBT Business Enterprise(LGBTBE) is a business venture that is at least 51% owned and controlled by a minority or woman and/or LGBT respectively.

For the purposes of the BKC's Supplier Diversity Database, a vendor

  • Can be of African American, Hispanic American, Native American, Asian Pacific American or Asian Indian American descent, female or gay, lesbian, bi-sexual or transgender.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a legal permanent resident

  • Must be certified by a third party certifying agency accepted by BKC such as a regional office of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) or National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC) or National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC).

Step 2: Obtaining Third Party Certification

Third party certification is a pre-condition to doing business with BKC as part of our Supplier Diversity Program.

BKC's preferred method of certification is through a regional affiliate of the NMSDC (www.nmsdc.org) for MBEs, and the WBENC (www.wbenc.org) or the NWBOC (www.nwboc.org) for WBEs or the NGLCC (www.nglcc.org) for LGBTBE.

Step 3: Registration Process for Burger King Corporation's Supplier Diversity Database

If you have third-party certification as an MBE , WBE or LGBT, we invite you to register in our Supplier Diversity Database . This sourcing database is available to all BURGER KING® system personel involved in developing supplier relationships.

Please note: Registering your minority, woman or LGBT-owned company in our Supplier Diversity Database does not, in any way, constitute an official approval of your company, services or products.
